  • There are several techniques that a person can use to persuade others. Some techniques can be overt and honest while others can be dishonest or deceptive. What techniques do you gravitate towards when you are in a place to persuade others? Include the effects of cognitive dissonance on you when you are in this position, and also the effects on the person who is being persuaded.
  • Decide if being skilled at persuading others is a positive or a negative skill to develop. Support your explanation with the textbook and other resources.
  • Within your position, explain how persuasion plays a role in a biblical worldview. Use Scripture to support your claims.
