Some parents refuse to have their children vaccinated. What is the scientific evidence concerning the safety of vaccinations? You will need a reference. Should parents be forced to vaccinate their children in order to protect the rest of society against the reemergence of killers, such as measles or polio?

I do believe that parent should have their kids vaccinating for the safety of their child life. Vaccination is very important to culture and yourself. They must be forced to vaccinate each time they need it. Once you put other folks at stake then you should be penalized. On the other hand, I still think they should all be vaccinated. If your youngster gets sick at school they take them to the nurse office until their parents arrived. This only applies to people that are not during their kids vaccinated. There is no scientific indication that any vaccine causes autism and even the autism declares organization says that vaccines do not cause autism.

Assignment 1: Job Characteristics Model
The job characteristics model, designed by Hackman and Oldham, is based on the idea that the task itself is key to employee motivation. According to the theory, five core job characteristics should prompt three critical psychological states, which lead to many favorable personal and work outcomes. Respond to the following:
- Identify a job you know well and provide a brief summary of what the job entails (what are the daily work activities).
- Analyze the job using the Job Characteristics Model. You must use all the five core job characteristics.
- Discuss the finding. Include the “score” for each core job characteristic and discuss the related critical psychological states and personal/work outcomes.
- Suggest additional actions that might be taken to improve the motivating potential score of the job.
Support your statements with scholarly references. Write your initial response in approximately 400–500 words. Apply APA standards to citation of sources. Use scholarly references to support your work
Autism and Asperger’s Disorders – One or Two Categories?
The most common pervasive developmental disorders tend to fall into one of two categories: autism disorder and Asperger’s disorder.
Watch the fifteen-minute online video Autism’s Causes: How Close Are We to Solving the Puzzle on autism, which was aired on the PBS NewsHour’s show on April 20, 2011. You may also opt to read the transcript or listen to the audio available on the same web page.
Review the information presented in the video and complete the required readings for this week. Submit a 3- to 4-page paper and respond to the following:
- Take a position on the current debate about whether Asperger’s disorder is a type of autism? The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) moved Asperger’s disorder into the autism category and addressed it as a mild form of autism. There are many critics of this change to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fourth Edition, Text Revision (DSM-IV-TR) which placed the two diagnoses in separate categories, indicating that Asperger’s disorder is not a form of autism (American Psychiatric Association, 2000).
- Should Asperger’s have been labeled as a high-functioning (mild) form of autism, or should it have remained in its own category as a disorder separate from autism? Support your decision with information from academic sources.

Final Project
In the first two written assignments, you selected one vulnerable population in need of a new program or service in your community. In this project, you will finalize the research that allows you to understand elements that go into designing and launching a community service. The Final Project will be written using a persuasive tone, such that you would be able to present it in order to gain community and organizational support for your program. The Final Project must demonstrate an understanding of the reading assignments, class discussions, as well as your research and application of new knowledge. Your project must contain the following elements:
- A description of the vulnerable population and why they need assistance in your community.
- A description of the health service needs of the vulnerable population you have chosen to serve with your program.
- In order to support the need for the service you propose, cite statistical data obtained from your county health department, state health department, and organizations or agencies who serve the vulnerable population.
- A description of your proposed community service or program; include the specific service(s) provided and one continuum of care level (prevention, treatment, or long-term care). Explain how the selected service(s) and the continuum of care will impact the chosen population.
- Discuss the social and cultural norms of your vulnerable population and how these play a role in the need for the services offered by your program. Describe how the vulnerable population experiences the health care system. Analyze methods your program can use to overcome social and cultural differences.
- Identify two or more community organizations or agencies with which you can partner in order to implement your program. Explain how these organizations can help you implement the services you offer and the continuum of care offered by the potential partnering agencies. Explain which services these organizations will provide to your clientele that are not covered by your program.
- Analyze at least four potential funding sources for your program, one of which must be from a state funded agency, one of which must be from a federally funded agency and the remaining two can be not-for-profit or for-profit business sources. Explain what factors must be met in order to receive funding from your sources.
Your final project will demonstrate quantitative literacy, which shows your ability to identify and solve problems. Additionally, you must demonstrate integrative learning, which means you combine your earlier learning from this and other courses, analyze data from multiple perspectives, explore issues to their full extent as is required in the assignment, as well as incorporate your own personal and professional experiences.
Be detailed and convincing in describing the above elements. For your presentation, you may choose between the following formats:
- An APA formatted Final Paper
- A PowerPoint Presentation
The Final Paper:
- Must be eight to ten double-spaced pages in length (not including title and references pages) and formatted according to APA style as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center.

Economics in Healthcare Essay Paper
Part I
Consider the four health plans below with an eye to choosing one to offer to the company’s employees. Assume that the health plans and their annual per employee premiums are as follows:
ORDER A CUSTOM-WRITTEN PAPER NOW
Health Plan Premium, Individual Premium, Family
Aetna Health $4,555 $11,428
MetroPlus $4,267 $10,540
Empire $4,217 $10,767
Oxford $6,029 $13,417
The employer will pay 80% of the premium for individual coverage, and the employee will pay the remaining 20% as well as the entire additional premium for family coverage. (The premiums listed above, while realistic in magnitude, are hypothetical and computed solely for the purpose of this project.) All of the plans are managed care plans. Assume that the benefit package is the same across all plans, so there is no difference between them in what services are covered.
In addition to the above data, click here(https://www.health.ny.gov/health_care/managed_care/reports/quality_performance_improvement.htm#link3) to access the latest report for ‘Health Plan Comparison in New York State’. Review the online report and incorporate relevant information into your evaluation.
You can view the various categories of measures on which health plans are rated (e.g., Access to Care, Adult Living with Illness, etc.). Click each link for a summary chart that presents the performance (usually as a percentage score) of each plan in the group on the relevant measures and how each plan compares to regional and statewide scores.
Provide an analysis that outlines the plan you selected and why. Generally, you would select the plan with the highest score, but if you chose a plan with a lower score, explain why. Include the following elements in your analysis:
· Explain which factors (e.g., price and/or performance measures) were most important to your choice of plan and how you derived the weights for each factor you used.
· Indicate, on a scale of 1 to 10, how comfortable or confident you are that you made the right choice, with 10 being most confident.
Part II
You need to use the multi-attribute utility (MAU) technique to respond to the following questions. Although the technique can be performed with pencil and paper, it is recommended you use a Microsoft Excel to do the various calculations involved.
Click the following links to access the information on using the MAU technique:

· Compare your level of confidence at the time you completed Part I to your confidence level for Part II, when you used this decision aid.
· Was it helpful? What were its advantages and disadvantages?
Did it make the decision harder to make or easier to justify?

Discussion 1: Evaluating Nutrition Information
For this discussion, conduct an internet search for a nutrition question that interests you. It could be about a particular food or a diet or how food might be beneficial for certain conditions. Choose an article from your “search”. Then evaluate the article based on the following criteria:
- On what kind of website does the information appear? (.gov, .com, .net, .edu, etc)
- Is the author listed? If not, can you determine who might have written it? If so, is there any evidence that the author has some authority in the field of nutrition or health? (qualifications, credentials [RD/RDN, MD, PhD, MS, etc]
- Who is the intended audience for this information? General public or scholarly? If scholarly, does it provide a bibliography or reference list?
- Are there any clues that the author might be biased? (selling or promoting a product? taking a personal stand based on social or political issues? other?) If so, describe how the article is biased, if not, provide evidence that it is unbiased (ex. they offer both pros/cons; you can find related information from credible sources agreeing with the author, etc).
In your discussion post provide the question you asked in your search, the title of the article you chose, the link to the article, and a brief summary and explanation of your perception of the validity and credibility of the information you found. Your response should be at least 250 words.
After posting your response, read the responses of your classmates and respond to at least one in 150 words.
