Write at least five (5) full pages that analyze the internal and external environments for Partnership of Maternal and Child Health of New Jersey. This paper must be in essay form. Make sure you use grammar and spell check, proofread carefully, and use the APA writing style. You will be marked both on your writing mechanics as well as the content of your paper. INTERNAL ANALYSIS: must include factors within the organizationmentioned that might be considered a strength or weakness and could be leveraged to take advantage of opportunities or reduce threats. Specifically, you must analyze the strengths and weaknesses of each of the functions found in the organization (i.e. Sales & Marketing, Finance & Accounting, Management (including HR), Research & Development, Production, and Information Systems (or whatever departments are found in your Internship company with which you are familiar). You are to assess how well these functions are performing, providing an in-depth discussion and analysis of resource levels and capabilities (how well these functions are using the resources to achieve organizational objectives). Do not simply describe how your organizational units perform their work. EXTERNAL ANALYSIS Your external analysis must include factors outside the organization that may pose opportunities or threats to your organization. Specifically, you must analyze factors in the societal environment (demographics, economic, socio-cultural, political-legal, and technology) as well as factors in the industry environment (customers, competitors, and suppliers). Do not simply describe the external factors that you believe affect your business. You are required to provide the reader a clear understanding of how the factors are related to the creation of opportunities or threats for your organization. CONCLUSIONS AND FUTURE STUDY Once you have completed your SWOT analysis, the next step is to add a conclusion and a topic for future study for the organization which could be implemented to take advantage of the opportunities or reduce the threats. Please be specific. IN-TEXT CITATIONS AND THE REFERENCES PAGE Any data that you add to your paper that is not your own idea, thought, or observation must be cited in your paper or else it is considered plagiarism. Even if you paraphrase someone else’s commentary, you need an in-text citation and a listing on the References page. CHARTS, STATISICS, QUOTES, INTERVIEWS, AND PICTURES ARE GOOD EXAMPLES OF ITEMS THAT MUST BE CITED INSIDE YOUR PAPER. THESE CITATIONS ARE REQUIRED, AS THIS IS A RESEARCH PAPER. Be sure to include at least three sources on your Reference page that you used in your research for your SWOT paper using the proper APA format for interviews, magazine or newspaper articles, Websites, company brochures, or annual reports.

For the DNP-prepared nurse, it is important to hone skills related to reviewing and evaluating research literature to implement evidence-based practices. As you examine epidemiological research, in particular, it is essential to ask, “What are the strengths and weakness of the research method(s)? Are the data analysis and interpretation sound? Is there any evidence of bias?” This Discussion provides you and your colleagues valuable practice in critically analyzing research literature.

To prepare:

  • With      this week’s Learning Resources in mind, reflect on the importance of      analyzing epidemiological research studies.
  • Critically      appraise the Oppenheimer (2010) and Elliott, Smith, Penny, Smith and      Chambers (1999) articles presented in the Learning Resources using      Appendix A in Epidemiology for Public Health Practice as a guide.
  • Determine      the strengths and weaknesses of the research methods and data analysis of      each study.
  • Ask      yourself, “Is any bias evident in either study? What did the researchers      do to control for potential bias?”
  • Finally,      consider the importance of data interpretation in epidemiologic literature      and the issues that may arise if potential confounding factors are not      considered.

By tomorrow 04/05/2018 3pm, write a minimum of 550 words in APA format with at least 3 scholarly references from the list of required readings below. Include the level one headings as numbered below”

Post a cohesive scholarly response that addresses the following:

1) Appraise the Oppenheimer (2010) and Elliott et al. (1999) articles, summarizing the strengths and weaknesses of each study (see attached files for those articles).

2) Analyze potential sources of bias in each study and suggest strategies for minimizing bias.

3) Suggest possible confounding variables that may have influenced the results of each study.

Introduction:

The purpose of this task is to develop a working knowledge of nursing theory, nursing ethics, and professional accountability and apply these concepts to your professional clinical practice. You will be required to think about real-life scenarios and how they relate to nursing codes in your professional practice.

Requirements:

  1. Explain the functional differences between a regulatory agency, such as a board of nursing, and a professional nursing organization as it pertains to your professional nursing practice.
  1. Identify two provisions from the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics (available in the web links section below).
  1. Explain how each provision identified in part B influences your professional nursing practice by using a clinical example.
  1. Identify four professional traits from the ANA Code of Ethics provisions.
  1. Explain how you will bring the professional traits identified in part C to an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
  1. Identify a nursing theory that has influenced your professional practice.
  1. Explain how this theory fits your professional practice.
  1. Discuss how the contributions of one historical nursing figure have impacted your professional nursing practice, including modern-day application.
  1. Describe a real-world situation or hypothetical scenario in which you, as a nurse, protected two of the following principles for the patient:
  • beneficence
  • nonmaleficence
  • respect for autonomy
  • justice

Note: Do not include confidential patient information (e.g., name, location).

  1. When you use sources, include all in-text citations and references in APA format.

Note: For definitions of terms commonly used in the rubric, see the Rubric Terms web link included in the Evaluation Procedures section.

Note: When using sources to support ideas and elements in a paper or project, the submission MUST include APA formatted in-text citations with a corresponding reference list for any direct quotes or paraphrasing. It is not necessary to list sources that were consulted if they have not been quoted or paraphrased in the text of the paper or project.

Note: No more than a combined total of 30% of a submission can be directly quoted or closely paraphrased from outside sources, even if cited correctly. For tips on using APA style, please refer to the APA Handout web link included in the APA Guidelines section.

Neurocognitive disorders (NCD) such as delirium, dementia, and amnestic disorders are more prevalent in older adults. As the population ages and as life expectancy in the United States continues to increase, the incidence of these disorders will continue to increase. Cognitive functioning such as memory, language, orientation, judgment, and problem solving are affected in clients with NCDs. Caring for someone with a neurocognitive disorder is not only challenging for the clinician, but also stressful for the family. The PMHNP needs to consider not only the client but also the “family as client.” Collaboration with primary care providers and specialty providers is essential. Anticipatory guidance also becomes extremely important.

In this Discussion, you will integrate several sources of knowledge specific to NCDs as you discuss evidenced-based therapies used to treat these disorders.

Role and Setting

In Week 5, the Final Project will synthesize what you have discovered about the different advanced practice roles and scope of practice found in the master of nursing curriculum: NP, nurse educator, nurse informaticist, and nurse administrator. You will review all roles and then examine the specialty for which you were admitted, focusing on the scope of practice, core competencies, certification requirements, and legal aspects of practice for that specific role. In Week 1, you will focus on Role and Setting.

For this assignment, you will research an advanced nursing practice role and summarize your findings in a 3- to 5-page paper (excluding the title page, references and appendices):

·         Focusing on the specialty for which you were admitted to South University, select an advanced nursing role to research.

·         According to the NPSGs, distinguish the role as clinical or non-clinical and how it promotes patient safety.

·         Find two research articles and one expert opinion article about this role, and summarize the articles in a 3- to 5-page paper.

·         The articles must be current (not more than five years old).

·         Format your paper, citations, and references using correct APA Style.

Identify the heritage of health and healing in faith based communities. Use multiple resources to collaborate community nursing with faith based nursing. Be sure to discuss at least three benefits of community nurses forming partnerships with parish nurses and faith based communities; to discuss a nurse’s role as parish nurse in faith communities for health promotion and disease prevention; to analyze how communities of faith may include Healthy People 2020 guidelines in program planning; and to consider legal, ethical, or financial issues related to parish nursing. Submit your answers in a 4- to 5-page Microsoft Word document.

Q2

1. Assume you are the director of your college or university’s athletic department. A major story hits the news claiming that several of your athletes received inappropriate assistance writing term papers. Supposing the story is untrue (in other words, that this is nothing but a rumor), how would you handle this negative publicity?

2. Faced with the rumor about Corona beer being contaminated with urine (see the discussion earlier in the chapter), what course of action would you have taken if the Heineken distributor in Reno had not been identified as starting the rumor? In other words, if the source of the rumor were unknown, what steps would you have taken?

What experiences have you had with research and evidence-based practice so far?Do you feel like your past/current workplace(s) have supported/promoted nursing research and evidence-based practice? What areas of research/evidence-based practice do you have an understanding of already? What areas are new to you?Why is research/evidence-based practice important to your nursing practice? How about to the larger nursing profession
