PART ONE:
1. Watch the video: “Museum Heist” scene from film, Black Panther (2018)
2. Read the text: Sarah Cascone, “The Museum Heist Scene in ‘Black Panther’ Adds Fuel to the Debate About African Art Restitution,” Artnet, March 5, 2018.
3. Then, read three other essential texts (see attachments) and (independently) research three of the case studies below. In a post of no less than 400 words, articulate the main ethical issues museums are facing apropos restitution and repatriation, and offer your opinion as to whether museums should return looted/stolen objects. Be sure to articulate your ideas in relation to three case studies below.
CASE STUDIES
· Parthenon Marbles, British Museum
· Gweagal shield, British Museum
· Benin sculptures, Humbolt Forum, Berlin, Germany
· Nedjemankh and His Gilded Coffin, Metropolitan Museum
· Congolese objects at the African Museum, Belgium
· Egon Schiele’s Portrait of Wally, 1912 (or another example of art stolen by the Nazis)
PART TWO:
choose two texts from this lecture’s readings and summarize each in no more than 200 words each. What do the authors mean by “sexist bias” in museums? How is it manifest? Are museums reconciling with this problem? If so, how? What are they doing right or wrong? Be sure to mention examples of some success stories.

Details:

In nursing practice, accurate identification and application of research is essential to achieving successful outcomes. Being able to articulate the information and successfully summarize relevant peer-reviewed articles in a scholarly fashion helps to support the student’s ability and confidence to further develop and synthesize the progressively more complex assignments that constitute the components of the course change proposal capstone project.  For this assignment, the student will provide a synopsis of eight peer-reviewed articles from nursing journals using an evaluation table that determines the level and strength of evidence for each of the eight articles. The articles should be current within the last 5 years and closely relate to the PICOT statement developed earlier in this course. The articles may include quantitative research, descriptive analyses, longitudinal studies, or meta-analysis articles. A systematic review may be used to provide background information for the purpose or problem identified in the proposed capstone project. Use the “Literature Evaluation Table” resource to complete this assignment.  While APA style is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and in-text citations and references should be presented using APA documentation guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.

The next two questions are based on the following information.

(Please round to the closest integer and include no units for the last two answers.)

Part 6

The next three questions are based on the following information.
The Low Knock Oil Company produces two grades of cut-rate gasoline for industrial distribution. The grades, regular and economy, are produced by refining a blend of two types of crude oil, type X100 and type X220. Each crude oil differs not only in cost per barrel, but in composition as well. The following table indicates the percentage of crucial ingredients found in each of the crude oils and the cost per barrel for each:
CRUDE OIL TYPEINGREDIENT A (%)INGREDIENT B (%)COST/BARREL ($)X100355530.00X220602534.80
Weekly demand for the regular grade of Low Knock gasoline is at least 25,000 barrels, and demand for the economy is at least 32,000 barrels per week. At least 45% of each barrel of regular must be ingredient A. At most 50% of each barrel of economy should contain ingredient B. While the gasoline yield from one barrel of crude depends on the type of crude and the type of processing used, we will assume for the sake of this example that one barrel of crude oil will yield 0.46 barrel of gasoline.
Hint: You may refer to the Low Knock Oil Company example analyzed on page 326-327 in the textbook (Program 8.9), and simply adjust your constraints for the demands accordingly.

The criteria below will be used when evaluating your responses. As a rule, your responses should demonstrate reflective and critical thinking.

1)  Responses demonstrate knowledge of the subject matter: Your responses should be meaningful – that is, they should indicate that you’ve reflectively and critically thought about the subject matter.

2) Responses include precise statements supported by evidence (accuracy): Use the provided articles or other resources to support your arguments or opinions; remember to provide the source. Be sure to separate acknowledged, supported facts (bolstered by citations) from personal insights.  Both are valuable, but the two should be distinguishable in your writing.

For example:

  1. a)   Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death and disability among the elderly” (Anspaugh, et al, 2006, p. 39)
  2. b)      Based on the news that I hear every day, I would argue that cancer is probably the leading cause of death.

3) Responses deal with the complexity of the issue; avoids oversimplification; responds to questions (depth). Responses should reflect the seriousness and gravity of the subject matter. Students should consider the intricacy or difficulty of the subject-matter and demonstrate the ability to expand upon ideas or opinions.

4) Responses include correct grammar and spelling. Your attention to spelling and grammar will directly impact the meaning and value of your response. Take the time to proofread all of your responses.

5) Responses are understandable with clear meaning (clarity). When you write something, make sure that people will understand you. After you type a response, try reading it out loud. Sometimes sentences that seem to be okay when you’re typing don’t really work when you read them back.

Institution Release Statement

While this weeks topic highlighted the uncertainty of Big Data, the author identified the following as areas for future research. Pick one of the following for your Research paper:

Additional study must be performed on the interactions between each big data characteristic, as they do not exist separately but naturally interact in the real world.
The scalability and efficacy of existing analytics techniques being applied to big data must be empirically examined.
New techniques and algorithms must be developed in ML and NLP to handle the real-time needs for decisions made based on enormous amounts of data.
More work is necessary on how to efficiently model uncertainty in ML and NLP, as well as how to represent uncertainty resulting from big data analytics.
Since the CI algorithms are able to find an approximate solution within a reasonable time, they have been used to tackle ML problems and uncertainty challenges in data analytics and process in recent years.
Your paper should meet these requirements:

Be approximately four to six pages in length, not including the required cover page and reference page.
Follow APA 7 guidelines. Your paper should include an introduction, a body with fully developed content, and a conclusion.
Support your answers with the readings from the course and at least two scholarly journal articles to support your positions, claims, and observations, in addition to your textbook.
Be clearly and well-written, concise, and logical, using excellent grammar and style techniques. You are being graded in part on the quality of your writing.
