This paper will give you the opportunity to understand how emerging countries are
managing human capital in the tightening global labor market. According to a 2008
McKinsey Global Institute study, countries outside of the United States are presenting
an opportunity for highly qualified, cost-effective alternatives to US-educated/based
professional talent. For instance, Morocco is now home to offshore centers for French
and Spanish companies requiring fluent speakers of their home languages. Neighboring
Tunisia has used its modern infrastructure, business-friendly regulations, and stable,
low-cost workforce to attract companies such as Siemens. Vietnam offers university
graduates who have strong mathematics skills; speak French, English, German, or
Russian; and do not demand high wages. In choosing a location, companies will have to
focus less on low wages and much more on other ways that candidate cities can fulfill
their business needs. They will also have to be much more rigorous in articulating
precisely what they require from an offshore location.
This paper will allow you to explore answers to the following questions: Should we move
white-collar jobs to offshore environments? With pressures on CEOs and business
leaders of all ranks to increase shareholder value by reducing costs, one of the options
in consideration is the opportunity to move white-collar professional positions to Outside
US. You must have at least three references (total) to the Hill and Hult (2020)
coursebook, the Ascent of Money videos, your relevant website material, Wall Street
Journal, etc. citing using APA. A minimum of three academic resources should be used
in the text – published books or academic journal articles.
This paper is designed for you to compare and contrast the pros and cons of moving
white-collar jobs offshore. By comparing the two points of view, you will be able to better
understand how a company chooses (knowingly or unknowingly) to adopt a particular
position and how this decision will affect the economy of the US and the company that
receives the job influx.
Your paper will consider the following questions:
o What benefits result from the outsourcing of skilled white collar jobs to
developing nations?
o Who are the losers?
o Will developed nations like the US suffer from the loss of skilled and high
paying jobs to developing nations? Is there a difference between the
transference of high-paying white collar jobs, such as computer
programming and accounting to developing nations and low-paying bluecollar jobs?
o If so, what is the difference, and should government do anything to stop
the flow of white-collar jobs out of the country?
o Be sure to include your country of choice as one comparison to the US.
Once again, you will find very helpful information on any company that you choose on
their Websites and by researching recent press releases. Remember you cannot use
Wikipedia as a source.
Be sure you have an introduction, an analysis and a conclusion. The following describes

The community health RN is caring for a family with a child who has significant developmental delays. The child is 9-years-old and exhibits the development of a 6-month old infant.  She can move her extremities spontaneously, hold her head up and cry out occasionally. She has a gastrostomy tube for her medications and she receives continuous tube feeding via pump.  She was discharged 2 days ago after a 5-day hospitalization for failure to thrive.  During the hospital stay, the child’s tube feeding formula was adjusted to meet her growing needs. The community health RN is monitoring the child after discharge, following up on the child’s weight and the parent’s knowledge of the new feeding formula type, amount, and schedule. Today the child weighs 64 pounds. The child’s current weight represents a 2 pound weight gain since hospital admission.

The RN has chosen the NANDA-I nursing diagnosis of Ineffective health management r/t insufficient knowledge of expected growth and calorie requirements AEB parent states, “I thought the same tube feeding would be enough calories for a long time, I don’t know how to tell if the feeding should be adjusted.”

Initial Discussion Post:

The Quality and Sustainability Paper is a practice immersion assignment designed to be completed in three sections. This is part two of the assignment. Learners are required to analyze the quality outcomes and/or patient safety measures of a health care entity to determine its successes and failures, identify potential obstacles to the implementation of the measures, and determine what collaborative efforts are needed to create sustainability.

General Guidelines:

Use the following information to ensure successful completion of the assignment:

• This assignment uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.
• Doctoral learners are required to use APA style for their writing assignments. The APA Style Guide is located in the Student Success Center.
• This assignment requires that you support your position by referencing at least six to eight scholarly resources. At least three of your supporting references must be from scholarly sources other than the assigned readings.
• You are required to submit this assignment to Turnitin. Please refer to the directions in the Student Success Center.

Directions:

Write a 1,250-1,500 word paper that provides the following:

1. Identify or create a health care entity. (Provide an overall description of this entity without using the real name; i.e. location, size, profit or nonprofit, years in operation). Do not give the real name of any entity or person you are describing.
2. Using defined quality outcomes and/or patient safety measures, describe the health care entity’s successes and failures. Include identified criteria and data that demonstrate why this entity is successful and in what areas.
3. Using the quality outcomes data, identify a quality or safety area that nursing science can impact. Describe the specific variables.
4. Identify potential obstacles that may hinder the implementation of the quality or safety measure.
5. Identify those groups or leadership roles within the entity with whom you may need to collaborate.

Job Order Costing

Cowley County Hospital uses a job-costing system for all patients who have surgery. In March, the pre-operating room (PRE-OP) and operating room (OR) had budgeted allocation bases of 4,000 nursing hours and 2,000 nursing hours, respectively. The budgeted nursing overhead charges for each department for the month were $168,000 and $132,000, respectively. The hospital floor for surgery patients (In-Room) had budgeted overhead costs of $1,200,000 and 15,000 nursing hours for the month. For patient Fred Adams, actual hours incurred were eight and four hours, respectively, in the PRE-OP and OR rooms. He was in the hospital for 4 days (96 hours). Other costs related to Adams were:
