The Assignment Task:
The purpose of this assignment is to undertake a critical review of literature in relation to key themes in
Strategic Business and Management. A literature review is a critical analysis of published sources on a
particular topic. It is an assessment of the literature and provides a summary, classification, comparison and
evaluation. Undertaking a critical review of literature is a key component for postgraduate study. It allows you
to demonstrate the depth of your knowledge and understanding, highlight your ability to challenge, question,
compare and contrast and analyse a range of theories and concepts in relation to your topic.
It is important that you demonstrate that you are able to evaluate and critically analyse what you are reading.
As a post graduate business student, it is essential that you demonstrate up-to-date knowledge regarding
critical business issues and that you can reach evidence-based conclusions in your writing.
The task: is to undertake a Critical Literature Review in relation to key themes in Strategic Business and
Management that being introduced in this module within the context of International Business. Choose one
of the following topics below for your essay:
❖ Leadership in the 21st century and strategic development of organisations.
❖ Leading innovation and strategic development of organisations in the 21st century.
❖ Leading organisations in complex business environment in the 21st century.
❖ Leadership for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainability issues in Strategic
Management in the 21st century.
Once you choose a topic, you must write a 2,000-word research essay (+/-10%). Remember your final
reference list, cover page, list of tables, list of figures and list of appendices and appendices are not included.
Using headings, you should introduce your topic, then critically evaluate your research sources, comparing and
contrasting ideas to summarise key themes and identify new theories based on your research. Finally, you
should synthesise and add a conclusion to summarise what you have found. (The assignment template will be
provided). A Critical Literature Review is a research-based essay requires you to identify, select and analyse the
research on the key themes and to critically discuss the implications of the research in relation to real world
situations. You must employ evidence-based analysis and cite your sources and present a reference list
(Harvard Style).
4 | P a g e
Evidence-based analysis: This means you should support and critically analyse arguments made within your essay by
providing proper justifications from academic articles and academic books (sourced via UoN library and NELSON) and/or
from other creditable sources mentioned in your Harvard Referencing guide. You must use quality sources of
information. Quality sources normally include academic journals and academic books and credible business
reports. You must also cite and reference your sources using Harvard Referencing. There will be guidance on
NILE to help you to consider the credibility of your research and to help you with Harvard Referencing. For
support with critical reading and writing, how to approach literature reviews and postgraduate level work,
Harvard referencing and other academic skills please use the University of Northampton skills hub:

copying, plagiarism or any other methods by which students have obtained (or attempted to obtain) an unfair
advantage.
If you are in any doubt about what constitutes plagiarism or any other infringement of academic integrity,
please read the University’s Academic Integrity and Misconduct Policy. For help with understanding academic
integrity go to UNPAC and follow the Top Tips for Good Academic Practice on the student hub.
Please note that the University of Northampton puts all written assignments through detection software
which detects if work has been plagiarised (copied) from other students (past or present and whether at
UON or any other university), books, journals or internet sources. Copied materials WILL be detected. The
penalties for copying work from another source without proper referencing are severe and can include
failing the assignment, failing the module and expulsion from the university.

Assignment Support: Citing & Referencing Harvard Style
(UK Universities have slightly different Harvard referencing style)
For more details, please check your university’s Harvard referencing guide:
UoN’s Harvard Referencing Guide
“Referencing is a way of acknowledging other peoples’ ideas and work. You do this through a citation (in
the text of your work) and a reference at the end of your work. The purpose of referencing is so that anyone
reading your work can refer to the original source to check and verify the ideas presented. You must
reference any source that you use” (UoN Library and Learning Service, 2016).
➢ Your in-text citations and final reference list MUST be in Harvard Style.
➢ You SHOULD develop your critical thinking and provide it in an academic format/work.
➢ Your academic works (report, assignment, presentation and etc) without academic references (textbooks
& academic articles) and credible sources have NO value and it is NOT acceptable.
➢ Using non-academic sources and internet websites such as Wikipedia, YouTube, Online Business Dictionary,
Study.com and similar sources will not add any value to your arguments and your grade will be affected
negatively. Please Do Not use non-academic internet websites / non-academic sources to support your
arguments.
➢ You may develop your knowledge by watching YouTube videos or reading Wikipedia. BUT, you are NOT
allowed to use them as references/citations. You MUST find the original academic or credible sources of
those YouTubes and Wikipedia pages to use as citations and references.
➢ Official credible internet websites can be used to gain data and information to support your findings and
arguments. For example:

How to develop critical thinking?
You will be taught different modules during your studies. You are going to review, read and understand the
importance of different Business and Management theories and you will practice and apply those theories
on your case studies during seminar activities and assessments.
Critical Thinking means, making reasoned judgments that are logical and well thought out. If you think
critically you may ask these questions such as:
❖ How do you know that?
❖ Why this is happening?
❖ What are the different scholars’ opinions about the objectives / topics?
❖ Is this conclusion based on credible and academic evidence or gut feelings?
❖ Are there alternative possibilities?
You critical thinking can be divided into the followings:
➢ Curiosity
➢ Scepticism
➢ Humility
Curiosity: Desire to learn more information and seek evidence as well as being open to new ideas.
Scepticism: Having a healthy questioning attitude about new information that you are exposed to.
Humility: Admit your opinions and ideas are wrong when faced with new convincing evidence.
Critical Thinking is a complex process of deliberation which involves a wide range of skills and attitudes. The
focus of critical thinking is often referred to as the “argument” (Cottrell, 2011. pp.2-4):
➢ Identifying other people’s (academic scholars) positions, arguments and conclusions.
➢ Evaluating the evidence for alternative points of view.
➢ Weighing up opposing arguments and evidence fairly.
➢ Being able to read between the lines, seeing behind surface and identifying false or unfair
assumptions.
➢ Recognising technique used to make certain positions more appealing than others.
➢ Reflecting issues in a structured way, bringing logic and insight to bear.
➢ Drawing conclusions about whether arguments are valid and justifiable, based on good evidence and
sensible assumptions.
➢ Synthesising information, drawing together your judgments of evidence, synthesising these to form
your own new position.
➢ Presenting a point of view in a structured, clear well-reasoned way that convinces others (based on
creditable findings).
Benefit of critical thinking skills:
➢ Improve attention and observation.
➢ More focused reading.
➢ Improve ability to identify the key points in a text or other message rather than becoming distracted
by less important materials.
➢ Improve ability to respond to the appropriate points in a message.
➢ Knowledge of how to get your own point across more easily
➢ Skills of analysis that you can choose to apply in a variety of situations.

First Steps on Becoming a Grassroots Lobbyist/Advocate for Health Care Policy

This assignment has two parts, numbered below. Write each question as a new topic area, then follow with a paragraph or two to answer the question. You may find it necessary to search for answers to the questions outside of the assigned reading. Be sure to use APA guidelines for writing style, spelling and grammar, and citation of sources.

Tasks:

  1. Imagine that you are going to make a visit to your representative in Congress. Develop a one-page document that supports your position on the AHCA that you would leave with your representative or his or her aide when you make your visit. This one-pager, also called a “leave behind,” should state your position clearly in bullet points and give your reasons why your position is preferred. This “leave behind” should have 1 inch margins and utilize 14-point font throughout. If you were making this visit in person, you would present your “leave behind” to the person with whom you speak during your visit. Include a second page that describes your rationale for the position in your “leave behind” page supported by at least two journal articles.
  2. Write a two-page brief to describe the scenario surrounding your legislative visit. Understanding the political affiliation of your representative, include answers to the following:
    • Was your member in support or in opposition to the AHCA?
    • State three points that you would cover in support or opposition to your representative’s position.
    • How does your nursing experience influence the advocacy position that you take on the AHCA?

Submission Details:

  • Submit your response in a 4-page Microsoft Word document.
  • Name your document SU_NSG4068_W3_Project_LastName_FirstInitial.doc.
  • Submit your document to the Submissions Area by the due date assigned.
  • Cite sources in the APA format on a separate page.

Describe the most significant milestone(s) in the history of public health informatics.

• Refer to the CDC and WHO websites and state the similarities and differences between the types of public health data available with both these organizations.

• Explain the different kinds of statistics and data available with the CDC and WHO. In addition, explain the various methods of research that they use.

• Explain some of the major roadblocks that the field of public health informatics has encountered during the course of its development.

• Describe the most salient issues facing the field of public health informatics today.

• List and describe the various web-based data query programs that are available for different states, including your own.

q2

The dispute over exposing the comparative performance of physicians on a wide spectrum of variables has been resolved in favor of the consumers of health care. Despite physician protests, a number of states have passed legislation that gives the public access to physician information, including disciplinary records, malpractice actions, and whether a physician has lost hospital privileges. Are these fair and balanced bases on which consumers should make medical decisions?

For your sixth discussion board, you are going to begin planning for your upcoming argumentative essay, Essay 3. Since you will need to choose a controversial issue in your academic pathway to focus on, research will play a vital role in your argument. Respond to the prompts below in order to create a research proposal that will provide you direction and a strong basis for your writing. In addition, I will have the opportunity to look over your progress and help guide you toward an even stronger writing project.

  1. What is the working title for your essay?
  2. Explain your interest in this topic. In other words, why did you choose this subject to write on (beyond it simply being in your field of study)?
  3. What is the tentative claim/thesis of your essay? You should express this idea in 1-2 sentences, so make sure that your claim is as specific as possible. (Note: This argument may alter in scope and focus as you progress; you are not wholly committed to it.)
  4. How will your research and writing help to inform and/or benefit your audience? In other words, what is the larger goal of arguing about this topic?
  5. List at least two main sides of your argument (i.e., for and against). Remember that knowing and considering the counterarguments of your claim can help you to write conscientiously about your issue.
  6. Describe at least 3 specific sources that you have consulted, including relevant library databases, (credible) websites, popular and/or scholarly periodicals, books, etc. Make sure to provide specific information about your sources like titles, authors, locations, and dates of publication.

MUST FOLLOW ALL THE GIVEN INSTRUCTIONS BELOW ……

Instructions:

This 2000 word written assignment has two distinct parts that you should address separately. Please use headings for each part.

You do not need to provide an introduction or a conclusion for the written assignment or any of the parts.

There are two family scenarios for you to choose from; select ONE scenario and use this for your entire assignment.

Part 1 – Nursing Care of the Family: Assessment (500 words)

 Create a genogram to visually depict the family’s structure. You must use the PowerPoint slide which will be supplied to you within the Assessment Folder on Learning@Griffith course site to create your genogram. Save the slide as a picture file (*.jpeg), and insert the picture into your document.

  •   Below the genogram, summarise the structure of the family to demonstrate your understanding of the family assessment findings.
  •   Use the Australian Family Strengths Nursing Assessment Guide (AFSNAG) to identify and briefly describe two (2) strengths of the family you are assessing.  Part 2 – Nursing Care of the Family: Planning, Implementing and Evaluating (1,500 words)
    •   Select two (2) issues/challenges for the family or a member of the family you have selected. These issues may be identified by the nurse, family or both. These can be health, social, or developmental family issues/challenges e.g., breastfeeding, social isolation, transition to parenting; they should not be ‘medical’ issues e.g., diabetes, high blood pressure.
    •   For each issue/challenge identified in the family assessment (allow approximately 750 words per issue):
     a) Describetheissue b) Plannursingcare c) Implement nursing care d) Evaluate nursing care o Use appropriate evidence from scholarly literature to describe the issue and discuss what is known about the issue/challenge. o Provide a relevant nursing goal and justify the goal (explain why it is relevant to the issue) using appropriate evidence or policies. o Outline one nursing intervention that supports the family to achieve the goal. Each nursing intervention should be supplemented by the recommendation of an existing online resource for the family and an appropriate referral.

i need a paper in a week, how to generate market equilibrium for a product , paper have to be 10 pages
check the presentation for a clear view
this is the abstract for resource allocation for cloud resources, it is similar to my project
abstract:
The emerging edge computing paradigm promises to deliver superior user experience and enable a wide range of Internet of Things (IoT) applications. In this work, we propose a new market-based framework for efficiently allocating resources of heterogeneous capacity-limited edge nodes (EN) to multiple competing services at the network edge. By properly pricing the geographically distributed ENs, the proposed framework generates a market equilibrium (ME) solution that not only maximizes the edge computing resource utilization but also allocates optimal (i.e., utility-maximizing) resource bundles to the services given their budget constraints. When the utility of a service is defined as the maximum revenue that the service can achieve from its resource allotment, the equilibrium can be computed centrally by solving the Eisenberg-Gale (EG) convex program. drawn from the economics literature. We further show that the equilibrium allocation is Pareto-optimal and satisfies desired fairness properties including sharing incentive, proportionality, and envy-freeness. Also, two distributed algorithms are introduced, which efficiently converge to an ME. When each service aims to maximize its net profit (i.e., revenue minus cost) instead of the revenue, we derive a novel conve x optimization problem and rigorously prove that its solution is exactly an ME. Extensive numerical results are presented to validate the effectiveness of the proposed techniques.

  • Introduction

Congratulations on all your hard work that has brought you to this Final Project for course completion. This project requires reflection on the journalling activities that you completed throughout the course.
The following questions relate to the course goals and learning outcomes for each module. They will guide your reflection. If you were attentive to the module activities, this project will be less time consuming than it will be if you weren’t. It requires reflection and commentary on key learning objectives as they relate to the activities.
Instructions
Read all of the following nine questions in Parts A, B, and C before beginning this project. Use the questions to reflect on the activities you completed in Modules 1 to 4.
Write a paper addressing the following questions and reflections. The paper should be no more than 20 pages double-spaced (approximately 5,000 words) and should include examples from your journalling activities.
Part A: Stakeholders and Interrelationships

  1. Describe how the activities influenced your awareness and understanding of the interrelationship between business and society. Use examples from your activities in each of the modules to support this answer. (10 marks)
  2. Using examples from your activities, describe the challenges of dealing with the conflicts and/or confluence of stakeholder needs, wants, expectations, and perspectives. Identify whose perspective you are representing in each of your examples. List examples of some of the ramifications of ignoring or improperly addressing stakeholder interests. (10 marks)
  3. Comment on how the use of “circles of reflection” can affect your perspective of an issue or situation. Cite examples from your activities to demonstrate how use of the circles of reflection affected your analysis. (5 marks)

Part B: Forces and Influences

  1. Comment on how ethics and social responsibility relate to some of the internal and external forces in business and society that we discussed in this course. Review activities in Modules 3 and 4, as well as Module 2, for examples. (10 marks)
  2. Describe how the readings and journalling activities influenced your views on workplace ethics and corporate social responsibility. Did you have a shift in your perspective? Do you consider ethics and/or corporate social responsibility to be important to business and society today? Explain your answer, and use examples from the activities. (10 marks)
  3. Comment on the interrelationship between external forces such as globalization, economics, technology, and the environment, and internal influences on business and society including governance and corporate citizenship (CSR), consumer protection, employee rights and responsibilities, and workplace diversity. Remember to support your argument with multiple examples such as sample journal entries, and readings. (20 marks)
  4. Is the government an external force, an internal force, a stakeholder, or all of the above? Using examples from your activities, comment on the government’s role in business and society. (5 marks)

Part C: Final Reflection

  1. Comment on how journalling activities helped you recognize the real or potential impact of stakeholder biases as well as your own biases. How do biases or differing perspectives influence the media, public opinion, and decision-making in business and society? Use examples from your activities to support your commentary. (15 marks)
  2. Describe what was the most significant learning for you in this course and explain why. (15 marks).
