This paper moves you from a nursing situation to a PICOT question and finally reading some evidence. Research and evidence-based practice starts with questions. These questions can be identified through nursing situations. For this assignment, you will identify and describe a nursing situation in which you have recognized a problem in your nursing practice. The problem must be something that you see consistently, such as central line infections. Next, develop one PICOT question (see p. 30, Box 2.1 templates for a PICOT Question). The types of PICOT questions include intervention, prognoses/prediction, diagnosis or diagnostic test, etiology, and meaning.Next you find an EBP publication and provide a short summary.

This FINAL Paper is graded for points using a Rubric. The faculty provides comment. The TURNITIN report provides you feedback with grammar edits and a similarity report.

You can review the TURNITIN report. A good paper for a writer scholar is less than 25% match in the similarity report.

** Attached includes: Rubric to Follow & My PICOT Question to base this paper on.

** PLEASE follow to instructions and rubric accordingly.

Week 3: Personality Disorders
I cannot believe these people. Don’t they know who I am? I deserve better treatment than this. That hostess should have seated me immediately, but I had to wait for 10 minutes and then she put me at this table right by the kitchen. I see an empty table right in the middle where I should be. I am just going to get up and move there. I don’t care what the hostess says, rules don’t apply to me.
Ashley, age 25
Personality disorders represent perhaps the most challenging disorders that the psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner will have to address in their professional careers. Personality disorders can co-occur in every mental health disorder and, in some cases, can mask as disorder . Although difficult to treat, the PMHNP must be able to identify personality disorders and endeavor to work with the client to not only recognize the disorder, but to treat a disorder that clients often do not believe they have.
This week, you will explore the many personality disorders and use the DSM-5 criteria for diagnosing individuals with specific personality disorders. You will use the Decision Tree format to diagnose and treat a client with a personality disorder. You also will complete the Fitzgerald University Exit Comprehensive Exam to determine your readiness for the certification exam.

Discussion: Treatment of Personality Disorders
Personality disorders occur in 10–20% of the population. They are difficult to treat as individuals with personality disorders are less likely to seek help than individuals with other mental health disorders. Treatment can be challenging as they do not see their symptoms as painful to themselves or others.
In this Discussion, you will explore personality disorders in greater detail and discuss treatment options using evidence-based research.
Learning Objectives
Students will:
Analyze diagnostic criteria for personality disorders
Analyze evidence-based psychotherapy and psychopharmacologic treatments for personality disorders
Analyze clinical features of clients with personality disorders
Align clinical features with DSM-5 criteria
Compare differential diagnostic features of personality disorders
Post:
Explain the diagnostic criteria for your assigned personality disorder. (Histrionic Personality Disorder)
Explain the evidenced-based psychotherapy and psychopharmacologic treatment for your assigned personality disorder.

Describe clinical features from a client that led you to believe this client had this disorder. Align the clinical features with the DSM-5 criteria.

Support your rationale with references to the Learning Resources or other academic resources.

In response to federal policy and service requirements, health insurance plans are increasingly developing high-deductible insurance policies and narrow networks. These types of policies require the consumer to pay more out of pocket. To portray this in a positive light, this trend has been labeled as “consumer-based” to suggest that the consumer must pay more from their own funds, and thus, encourage consumers to make better health care choices. On the other hand, this could be labeled as a burden on the consumer.
Write a 350- to 525-word article that identifies and evaluates the impact that federal or state health care policies have on consumer costs. Explore both positive and negative effects.
Publish the article on your own social media account (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.), or post it on a health care message board of your choice.
Include a citation of your article in your assignment.
Cite 3 reputable references to support your assignment (e.g., trade or industry publications, government or agency websites, scholarly works, or other sources of similar quality).

Prepare a 1,400- to 1,750-word, three-part research paper. Address the specifics within your paper of each of the following questions below as they pertain to Branzburg v. Hayes, Confidentiality, and Shield Laws. Ensure that your paper also demonstrates your understanding of the following dimensions:

 • The Legal implications of the use of traditional media as it relates to this case (verbal, non-verbal/symbolic and written)
 • The Legal implications of the use of new and social media (verbal, non-verbal/symbolic and written) potentially affecting a reporter’s privilege.
 • The confidentiality and shield laws applying to journalism and
 • The differences and relationship between Law and Ethics as it applies in this case.
 • Branzburg v. Hayes (Ch. 9 of the text)
 • What did the court decide in Branzburg v. Hayes regarding a journalist’s right to withhold confidential sources?
 • How have lower courts interpreted the Branzburg v. Hayes decision based on whether the cases involved civil, criminal, or grand jury proceedings?
 • Confidentiality (Ch. 10 of the text)
 • Summarize the approach journalists should take pertaining to promising confidentiality to sources.
 • What advice should journalists give to sources who demand confidentiality?
 • Shield laws (Ch. 10 of the text)
 • There are no uniform shield laws. They vary from state to state and vary between courts. Journalists typically operate at a local level where they may or may not be protected by state shield laws.
 • What protections do shield laws provide, if any, in addition to federal constitutional protections supporting nondisclosure of news sources? Explain your response.

Format your paper consistent with APA guidelines.

DEVELOPING A BRIEF PLAN TO RECRUIT FOR 20 NURSING POSITIONS FOR YOUR ORGANIZATION, USING BOTH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RECRUITING SOURCES.
4a. “Recruitment Methods” Please respond to the following:
· Develop a brief plan to recruit for 20 nursing positions for your organization, using both internal and external recruiting sources. Justify the different resources you will use for this plan. Provide specific examples to support your rationale.

4a. “Characteristics of Good Interviewers and Disparate Treatment” Please respond to the following:
· Compile two examples of the worst interviews you ever had. Determine key factors that made these interviews stand out negatively compared to other interviews you have had. Next, recommend three best practices for interviewers to avoid interviewing mistakes.
· A health care organization wants to hire 100 medical technicians, and of the 250 applicants that apply, 125 are male and 125 are female—all equally qualified. The organization hires 80 of the male applicants and 20 of the female applicants. Using Table 4.8, analyze whether or not disparate treatment exists in this hypothetical organization. Provide examples to support your rationale.
4b. “Health Care Professionals and Allied Health Professionals” Please respond to the following:
· Analyze two career options in the health care industry, in terms of the educational requirements, job responsibilities, and average salaries.

4b. “Nursing Shortages” Please respond to the following:
· Suggest two factors that are contributing to the current state of the nursing industry in the U.S. Focus on both internal and external influences. Provide specific examples to support your rationale.
· Analyze two issues that contribute to the current nursing shortage in the U.S., and propose a strategy to rectify this employment issue.

Digestive System Case Study DC comes to the emergency room complaining of acute abdominal pain. She states the pain came after dinner at an all-you-can-eat buffet and has been increasing steadily. The pain is located in her right upper quadrant and is “boring” into her back. She says she feels “gassy” and bloated. What are your differential diagnoses? Include the pathological process involved with your diagnosis. What tests would you order to confirm your diagnosis? What treatments or interventions would be the first line of protocol for your diagnosis? ]]>

Essay Question: The great classical cultures of Eurasia created separate identities but each of these cultures also contained important elements that other peoples adopted. In the classical and post-classical periods (600 BCE to 1450 CE), the peoples and cultures of this vast area had consistent and enduring interactions. What were three main causes or sources of this new integration of Eurasia? What were three important consequences or effects? What made these causes or sources and consequences or effects so important?
Book source URL for the essay below and please you can only use this information for reference. No other outside source is accepted. Chapters 3 and 4 cover information over Eurasia.

Please note: when you discuss the important consequences or effects of developments you identify or what we can learn from parallel worlds, do not extend your discussion beyond the year 1450. For instance do not discuss their significance for life today. The shape of the current world is beyond the scope of this class. The Final Exam in HIS 233 tests your mastery of course content and this course ends around the year 1450, so your discussion of important consequences or “take-aways” needs to end around that year as well. The nearly 570 years since 1450 (which is the time period covered by HIS 234) have had more impact on the nature of the modern world in any case.

Your exam should be no less than 5 double-spaced typed pages in 12-point Times New Roman font with 1-inch margins on all sides. It can be longer, however, Title, Bibliography, and Works Cited pages are not part of the required page count.
The formatting of the essay and all citations need to follow Chicago Manual of Style format. Chicago is the citation and bibliographic style used by historians. Click on the website links below for Chicago-style guides and examples of humanities and author-date citation styles. You may use either humanities or author-date citation styles but use only one of these styles in your work. The author-date citation style is very close to MLA and APA styles.
