In our work and personal lives, we need to be able to identify and analyze effective verbal and nonverbal communication in various situations. In the same way that you would analyze a work or personal life communication situation, you will be asked to create a short presentation (using media choices below) about the nonverbal communication demonstrated in a series of photographs. In addition to identifying aspects of nonverbal communication, you will also need to show how these elements can affect communication both positive and negatively. Include your observations of how nonverbal elements that you see alter the direction of communication.

  1. Select four of included photographs.
  2. Using either PowerPoint or Prezi, create a presentation that demonstrates your comprehension regarding these communication elements: Please include the following:
    1. A title slide including your name.
    2. Four slides that explain aspects of the nonverbal communication that you see depicted in the photographs. Be sure to include the photograph on the slide. Be as specific and detailed as possible in your description of body language, facial expression, physical distance (if applicable), gesture, and other aspects of nonverbal communication that you see.
  3. Using Screencast-o-matic (screencast-o-matic.com) or similar software, create a short video presentation of your PowerPoint or Prezi. Explain in detail the nonverbal elements of communication that you observe in each of the four photographs you have selected. Video should be between four and seven minutes long. This video should either be of the presentation itself or a hybrid video that includes both the presentation and an inset webcam video.
  4. Upload your video to screencast-o-matic, YouTube, or similar online video sharing site and provide a link to your video. Include your PowerPoint or Prezi with your submission.
LAB REPORT ASSIGNMENT (50 pts)

I will like you to work on this paper 2 for evidence base in nursing program. I have attched copy of paper 1, article 1, article 2,  guide line, and outline to assist in writing the paper 2.The majority of the work should be base on article 1 (quantitative). I do not want plagiarism . I will pay $20 for the paper and will like it back by Friday night 4/5/2019 before midnight. Thanks

To receive full credit there must be one primary posting of 200 words (3pts) to the discussion questions and at a minimum two secondary posts (1 pt. each) to another student’s post. Try to post your primary posts before Thursday of each week. This will help in creating a higher level of discussion as the week progresses. Final postings each week must be made before Monday at midnight. Please use proper grammar/spelling, and complete sentences. Try to use “critical thinking” and apply material from the text and your work experience if applicable. If you use online sources – please cite the source in your posting. (CH 7)
For this weeks Discussion, I want you to reflect back on your own style of management and how you lead.  If you are not in a current management responsibility, you still manage and or understand your distinct style of management.   Even if you are not leading yet, you still motivate people and understand how you do it.   Our distinct style of management hopefully works in our country and culture.   How would you have to modify this style for a different country and  culture?  You can pick a general area or a specific country or culture.  As a point of reference, my own management style many years ago, I use to think I was just direct and open.   However, many had told me I was BLUNT and Brutal and times.   Obviously  I modified this, and became  more relaxed and less threatening.    So use the 3 great videos and  the short McKinsey research papers as a foundation.   Tell us about your strengths, and how they would help in motivating cross cultural teams, and how you might have to modify your style for the area you picked to use in your discussion.   This is a fun discussion, so you don’t have to get all caught up in being hyper  specific.
Please respond to 3 classmates. Please pick 3 responses you AGREE with from the files I uploaded. Be constructive and professional in your responses. Please be sure to reach the 175 -200 word count for each respond. you can use course text book as a source. You can also use outside sources in your responses. Don’t use more than 2 sources per answer please

NR501 Concept Analysis Guidelines and Rubric
PURPOSE
This assignment provides the opportunity for the student to complete an analysis of a concept supported by a nursing theory using an identified process. The assignment fosters analytical thinking related to the selected concept as well as application within the profession.
REQUIREMENTS
Description of the Assignment
This assignment presents a modified method for conducting a concept analysis of ONE concept that is important and useful to nursing.  The concept for this assignment must be supported by a published nursing theory. The selected concept is identified and then the elements of the analysis process are applied in order to synthesize knowledge for application as demonstrated through the creation of model, borderline, and contrary cases.  Theoretical applications of the concept are also discussed. Non-nursing theories may NOT be used. The paper concludes with a synthesis of the student’s new knowledge about the concept. The scholarly literature is incorporated throughout the analysis.

Only the elements identified in this assignment should be used for this concept analysis.
Criteria for Content
1.         Introduction
The introduction substantively presents all the following elements:
•          Identifies the role of concept analysis within theory development.
•          Identifies the selected nursing concept.
•          Identifies the nursing theory that addresses the selected concept.
•          Names the sections of the paper.
•          Scholarly support is required.

2.         Definition/Explanation of the selected nursing concept
This section includes:
•          Defines/explains the concept using scholarly literature (a dictionary maybe used for this section ONLY, and additional scholarly nursing references are required).

Private vs. Public Control The major payers in private healthcare (other than government programs) are employers, and this has been true since the inception of health insurance programs. There are several reasons why this is so, but one of the main reasons is employees are a defined risk pool based on the work performed for the company. Healthcare insurance companies are able to predict the financial risk (as in an experience rating) taken by the type of employees. If, for instance, the work is dangerous or injury prone, such as direct care in a nursing facility, then the cost to insure that group would be higher than for employees working at a telecommunications office. Government healthcare programs, such as Medicare and Medicaid, do not measure the cost of healthcare by the experience ratings. Based on your understanding of the topic, answer the following:
  • Can programs like Medicare and Medicaid adopt such methods to defray costs? If yes, how would they implement such methods? If no, what suggestions would you make to defray costs?
Most of those receiving Medicare and Medicaid benefits are not employed.
  • How can the recipients of these programs be categorized into different risk pools? Explain.
The aging population is a force in healthcare continuing to have a dramatic effect on the direction of healthcare services. Many have discussed the aging population as the reason for the rising cost of healthcare. The pre- and baby-boomer generation (1946–65) were less knowledgeable and informed regarding the health risks and, therefore, engaged in risky behaviors that increased their susceptibility to chronic healthcare issues later in life.
  • What does that mean to the viability of Medicare and Medicaid?
Regardless of how many changes are made to Medicare to try to keep it solvent, aren’t the sheer numbers of eligible recipients versus the ever decreasing number of people paying into Medicare the real reason why Medicare will cease to exist in its present form?
  • Do you agree with this question? Why or why not?
The British national healthcare system owns many hospitals and directly employs workers. General practitioner salaries are set by the British government. The funding for healthcare services comes mostly from the government. This is significantly different from the US healthcare systems. Consider the issues with government healthcare programs in financing and administration.
  • Would the US be able to transit to the British style of national healthcare? Why or why not?
  • In comparison to the British system and US system, what would be some of the challenges the US would face in adopting a national healthcare system? Discuss at least three challenges.
  • Employer-sponsored healthcare benefits should be maintained or done away with in favor of a government sponsored healthcare program? Why or why not? Think through this situation as representing both an incentive and a hindrance. If it is a hindrance, then what is it hindering in the way of government-sponsored healthcare programs?
