You will need to create a profile.  Make sure to remember all of your log in information as you will use this site for at least 3 different days and most likely more as you will really like it.
Feel free to explore around in this website as it is a good one. For your assignment you need to write down everything that you have eaten (including serving size) for three separate days. Once you have your list for one of the days you are going to click into FOOD.  Everything you will do for this assignment will be in FOOD but again, check out all the rest that this myfitnesspal has to offer as I use this with all of the athletes and personal training clients I workout.
Follow the directions and enter all of the food that you have eaten for ONE day. You will need to find your food, choose the AMOUNT you ate and when you ate it, then continue to add all the rest of the food you ate for the ONE day.  Once you have put all the food you ate for ONE day go to the bottom of the page and click on the link to view your nutrients for the day.
After all of this is entered you will see anywhere from six to sixteen categories starting with calories or protein.  From this option, in addition to sending me this report, write one paragraph for EACH day discussing at least 5 of the categories and what you could have eaten that day to make each of the 5 categories better.
You will repeat this two more times for two different days, for a total of three separate days that need not be consecutive but must all be turned in together. You can then cut and paste this document into the submission box or attach it as a file.  So you understand?  Three separate days, discussing at least five categories per day, and turning in the report for each day.  Follow the directions exactly as written to get an A.

 

Nursing Services Delivery Theory: An Open System Approach Paper

  • Reflect on your organization or one with which you are familiar. Within a particular department or unit in this organization, identify a problem the staff is encountering.
  • Using Table 1 in the Meyer article as a guide, analyze the department or unit, identifying inputs, throughput, output, cycles of events, and negative feedback. Consider whether the problem you have selected relates to input, throughput, output, cycles of events, and/or negative feedback.
  • Think about how you could address the problem: Consider what a desired outcome would be, then formulate related goals and objectives, and translate those goals into policies and procedures.
  • Research professional standards that are pertinent to your identified problem.
  • Reflect on the organization’s mission statement and values. In addition, consider how addressing this problem would uphold the mission and values, while improving the organizational culture and climate.

Write a 3- to 5-page Nursing Services Delivery Theory: An Open System Approach Paper that addresses the following:

  • Describe a department or unit within a health care organization using systems theory terminology. Include a description of inputs, throughput, output, cycles of events, and negative feedback.
  • Describe the problem you identified within the department or unit using an open- systems approach, and state where the problem exists using the systems theory model (input, throughput, output, cycles of events, or negative feedback).

Introduction:

Part II Revisit your original philosophy. Review and revise your philosophy if any of your thinking has changed during the semester. If there are revisions make them in your original Philosophy I paper. 
Reflect on the nursing theories you have been exposed to throughout the semester. Identify a current nursing theory that is aligned with your personal philosophy. Requirements & Submission: 1. You will have to submit a five-page individual project report and a ppts (10
minutes presentation) based on this report. 2. Five-page individual project report must include two-page summary of an
assigned research paper, implementation of small module or design of database from assigned research paper, its Oracle SQL code, and screen shot of output.
3. Summary of research paper must include following topics. (a) Problem statements of the research article. (b) Background or literature survey or related work of research article (c) Solution statement or proposed work mentioned in the research article. (d) Results and discussion mentioned in the research article. (e) Conclusion and most important reference numbers mentioned in the
research article. 4. The design and implementation of small module of a database from the assigned

(g) You will have to submit *.SQL code of the project as an appendix. However, the appendix will not be counted in the number of pages of “Project Report”. It implies that appendix is considered additional number of pages in the project report. Additionally, there is no restriction of number of pages for the appendix.
(h) The internal documentation (i.e. comments) is required in Oracle SQL code. It means that you will have to mention that what are the purposes of a block of Oracle SQL code.

1-Gordon’s 11 functional health patterns theory appears to be the most helpful and effective in evaluating families. This theory focuses on 11 health patterns in the family and is used to find out risk factors based on the answers within the current developmental stages of the family and its members.  It utilizes the technique of establishing patterns from the provided information and focuses on reducing risk based on the patterns.  “The presence of risk factors predicts potential dysfunction. Developmental risk and risk arising from dysfunctional health patterns increase whole family risk.” (Edelman & Mandle, 2010) 
I find this theory to be the most helpful as it focuses on the whole family with attention to the developmental stage each family member is currently in.  With focus on risk that may affect one member of the family it works to improve the family as a whole based on the fact that one family member can affect the whole family based on their actions.

2-Dr. Murray Bowen introduced The Family Systems Theory that suggests that individuals can not be understood in isolation from one another, but rather as a part of their family.  Furthermore, families are systems of interconnected and interdependent individuals, none of whom can be understand in isolation from the system. 
Bowen states that a family is made of members that play a role and rules to respect. Although, maintaining the same pattern of behaviors within a family may lead to balance in a family, but it could led to dysfunction. For example, if a mother experiences depression and can not get it together, the husband may need to take up more responsibilities. This change could create stability or led the family to a different equilibrium.
