Building a Case Study Analysis
For Weeks 3, 5, and 7, please choose an issue (ONLY ONE (1)) of international relevance on any of the following weekly topics:

How to Build the Case Responses
Find a minimum of three (3) news articles discussing this issue.
The articles should be news articles, written by journalists for publication in newspapers or on news, websites (cannot be blogs or commercial sites). They may also be transcripts of news stories that were broadcast on television or radio. The article can be different versions of the same issue published in different countries. Many articles from other countries are supplied to library databases from the BBC Monitoring Service, which does no reporting of its own but collects articles from around the world and translates them into English (if they are originally in another language.) For these articles, there will be an indication of which newspaper, website, radio station, etc., was the original source of the article, and in which country it is located. This would be the country of origin.
Your responses should be well-rounded and analytical, and should not just provide a conclusion or an opinion without explaining the reason for the choice.
For full credit, you need to use the material from the week’s lectures, text and/or discussions when responding to the questions. It is important that you incorporate the question into your response (i.e., summarize the case in your introduction) and explain the principle(s) or concept(s) from the text that underlies your judgment.
For each Case (or critically thinking and discussion question) you should provide at least two references in addition to the textbook in APA format (in-text citations and references as described in detail in the syllabus). Each answer should be double-spaced in 12 pt. Use the following Headings and length in your paper:
Prepare a case study report with subheadings that has three main parts:
1.
1. Summary and Overview of the issue
2. Compare and contrast the perspective on the issue. How are the articles similar or different on how they expose the issues? What are the explicit and implicit issues?
3. Taking from the emergent literature (only journal articles or textbook), what are some of the implications and recommendations for conducting international business.
4. Write at least two questions that can be exposed (still without an answer) from analyzing this issue. These inquiries can be questions/issues that you were not able to answer or understand. Clarify where or how do you believe you can obtain this information. Mention specific sources (do not simply say, “Searching on the Internet”).
5. The length should be at least three (3) pages, but NOT more than 5 pages excluding a cover page and a reference list page.

4- A 23-year-old female complains of severe left lower abdominal/pelvic pain for 6 hours. She states her last menstrual period was “about 3 or 4 weeks ago.”She is sexually active and denies using any contraceptive method. She denies other symptoms, significant history, or allergies.In order of importance, describe three (3) questions that you would like to ask this patient and give a brief explanation of why? 5- A 28-year-old female presents with a “severe headache” for the past 9 hours. She states the pain is over the left temporal area and is “throbbing” in nature. These symptoms have occurred before but not as bad.What are some clinical assessment tools or techniques that you could use to help diagnose this patient’s condition?In order of importance, describe three (3) questions that you would like to ask this patient and give a brief explanation of why?

6- A 58-year-old obese man complains of pain in his left knee. The pain seems to be unrelenting. He says his knee is better when he rests, but it gets stiff when he rests too long. Purpose

The purpose of this assignment is to identify nursing care models utilized in today’s various health care settings and enhance your knowledge of how models impact the management of care and may influence delegation. You will assess the effectiveness of models and determine how you would collaborate with a nurse leader to identify opportunities for improvement to ensure quality, safety and staff satisfaction.

3. Observe staff in delivery of nursing care provided. Practice settings may vary depending on availability. 

4. Identify the model of nursing care that you observed. Be specific about what you observed, who was doing what, when, how and what led you to identify the particular model

5. Review and summarize one scholarly resource (not your textbook) related to the nursing care model you observed in the practice setting.

6. Review and summarize one scholarly resource (not including your text) related to a nursing care model that is different from the one you observed in the practice setting.

7. Discuss a different nursing care model from step #3, and how it could be implemented to improve quality of nursing care, safety and staff satisfaction. Be specific.

8. Summarize this experience/assignment and what you learned about the two nursing care models.

9. Submit your completed worksheet no later than 11:59 p.m. MT on Sunday by the end of Week 5.
