In today’s world of healthcare, capital expenses are a common element to the financial management process. In fact, all healthcare organizations, at some point, must convert to an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to be compatible with the rest of the world. However, this is a major capital expense that will cost many healthcare organizations millions of dollars. Purchasing an EHR system will undoubtedly require the acquisition and use of long-term assets under a capital budget.

The final assignment of your project will require you to make a recommendation to finance an EHR system, based on information from previous assignments. You will compile all the information in a proposal format, which will be addressed to the organization’s executive managers. You will create a separate presentation as an overview of your proposal.

Your organization is considering financing a 1.5 million dollar EHR system (if an EHR system not a good fit for your case, you can choose any major health information system/technology but the 1.5 million dollar reference should remain the same). Based on the financial outlook of your case/organization, make a recommendation to purchase or not purchase the system. You will need to draw on the material you have learned in throughout the class and assignments; as well as background information from your case description. Collectively, that information will serve as the foundation to support your recommendation.

Your final Financial Analysis report should be a minimum of eight (8) pages in length, excluding title and reference pages.

· Introduction of case and financial challenges and issues; perspective of financial challenge (Introduction)

· Report on assets and liabilities, cash flows and financial position, etc (Financial Statements).

· Examination of financial analysis methods (Financial Analysis Methods).

· Interpretation of financial management and capital management; influences for capital investments and decision-making (Capital Management).

· Assessment of EHR implementation (or relevant information system) and recommendation; using supportive information from financial management assignments (Proposal)

o Summarizes and presents a collection of financial management concepts, strategies and methods; applicable to case financial position, needs and challenges.

· Make sure to use block letter formatting and proposal formatting guidelines. You will need to include a title page. Remember, your audience is the organization’s executive managers. Make sure to use proper audience tone.

· Include an APA formatted reference page to include at least five (5) academic sources, such as a book or an academic scholarly journal, to support your topic. You should reference your academic sources by including at least five (5) in-text citations. Academic scholarly journals can be access through the Rasmussen Online Library.

Your Presentation should be created in MS PowerPoint to include a minimum of seven (7) slides. You will also add a narration to your presentation that should be 15-20 minutes in length. Be sure to discuss your project components in a concise, yet effective manner. You should highlight key points of each component of the Financial Analysis Report, leading up to your EHR recommendation outcome. Include graphical displays (such as graphs or other pictorials) to add visual interest and support of your information. Use a professional tone and keep in mind that you are presenting to the executive management team; consider their interests as stakeholders.

PERSONAL LIFE EVENTS THAT HAVE CHALLENGED MY LIFE
Going to College.
At first, I was excited about joining college.
But when I finally joined, things were different.
Everything seemed to be moving so fast.
It took me some time to adjust.
Even though I was excited to enroll for college, I did not anticipate some of the challenges I faced after joining. One of the major challenge I faced was that things seemed to be moving to fast in the institution. During the first days, I always found myself getting late for classes or orientation events because it was tough to find my way around the institution with multiple buildings. However, I was able to overcome it with time I learned my way around the college environment.

CONTINUATION…
Separating with my college friend
After college my long time friend and I had to part ways.
We had different career interest and it was time for venturing out.
It was a tough time because we had become close like family.
Talking over the phone was as interesting as being physically together.
The separation was difficult for me because this was an individual who had been in my life throughout college and we had developed a strong relationship. He was the person I would run to whenever I had a problem and he would do the same whenever he had an issue. However, after college, he got a job offer to move to anther state and as such we had to part ways. Over time I have been able to learn how to live with it and it has become much easier as speaking on the phone plays a significant role in keeping contact. It took me some time to adjust because he was studying IT and as such he was very helpful with technology stuff. It took me some time to adjust when we finally separated.

SPORT ACTIVITIES THAT HAVE ENHANCED MY GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT
Basketball
I was introduced to basketball when I was a child.
It has been my passion since.
The game has helped me:
Maintain my health and fitness through regular exercise
Improve my thinking and reasoning skills

When I was growing up, I become interested basketball as it was one of the main games I would play with my friends while off school. As such I grew to love the game and even joined the school team where I advanced and learn more about the sport. Throughout this time, I was able to engage in physical exercise to improve my skills and abilities in the game and this greatly improved my health as well as decision making skills.

Chess
I learned to play chess while I was in high school.
Ever since it has become one of my favorite games.
This is because it is:
Interesting and enjoyable
Improves my critical thinking skills.

When I was introduced to chess for the first time, I felt like it was the hardest game ever. However, over time, fell came to realize that it is not has hard as it seems and as such I fell in love with the game. I gradually improved my skills in the game as I played with more of my friends. By the time I was competing high school, I was one the top ranking chess player in the school as well as my neighborhood. I believe that the game has played a significant role in improving my critical thinking abilities.

WHEN AND HOW WHEN I MET MILESTONES
When?
I met milestones while I was in:
College
My first job
Leadership roles during my career

Milestones are set to ensure that particular goals are met within a particular time. The three cases above present some of the most significant moments when I had milestones to meet. In college, I had to undertake and complete my undergraduate project within a particular time frame. Even though the project involved a lot of work, I was able to develop and effective work schedule that enabled me to successfully complete the work within the required time frame. I had goals that I was supposed to meet on my first job and as such, I worked to ensure that I meet the goals so as to guarantee the success of the organization as a whole. Last but not least, in my leadership role, I have worked in various instances where I am expected to meet a particular set of goals within a given time. The successful achievement of these milestone have played a significant role in my career development.

CONTINUATION…
How I achieved the milestones
Proper management of deadlines
Highlighting important dates
Setting and effectively managing project deliverables.
Better deadline management helped me to deliver the desired outcomes within the required timeframe. Highlighting important dates helped me to prioritize on the project deliverable based on their due dates. Finally, setting and managing project deliverables enable me to focus on the milestone while at the same time giving the opportunity to make changes to the project when faced with unforeseen circumstance that may affect the achievement of the project milestones.
7
MY UNIQUE ABILITIES
I am good basketball player
I understand a lot about technology though I did study IT.
I am a great negotiator
Professional level chase player
The above abilities make me unique because not many people exhibit them. Regarding basketball, I am good at shouting as I was rated the best 3 point shooter in my high school basketball team. I also understand more about technology because my college roommate was an IT student who taught me so much about the industry. Also, I have effective negotiation skills that have come in handy when faced with the need to negotiate during various points in my life. I am also a professional chess player as I participated in various local and regional chess leagues.
8
INFLUENCE OF FAMILY MEMBERS
My family has influenced me from childhood to adulthood.
My father has greatly inspire and motivated me to pursue my interests.
My family members have always been their to offer their support when I am in need.
Even though I appreciate my who family, I particularly focused on my father because he has been an inspiration and motivation to my life. He was always teaching me how to understand the world in addition to helping learn how to make tough choices. His teachings have played a significant role to make me who I am today. Also the fact that may who family is always there to support me gives me the energy to follow my interests to the best of my ability.
9
UNIQUE ASPECTS OF MY LIFE THAT INFLUENCED ME
My life has greatly been influenced by religion.
I was brought up in a Christian family.
My decision and choices are greatly influenced by Christianity virtues and values.

Religion has had a great influence on the person I have turned to be. This is the case because I was brought up in Christian family and as such I was instilled with norms virtues and values of Christianity. As a family, we would go to church every Sunday. My siblings and I would go to the Sunday school classes while may parents went in to the main church. As such, Christian values form part of my life as they influence my actions and decisions.

10
HOW THEY INFLUENCED ME
I strived to follow the ways of Christ as required.
In engaged in various religious seminars and conventions.
Also I made a ton of friends through religious gatherings and events.
I am still a Christian to date
Christianity is part and parcel of my life because I have grown and developed into an adult learning and practicing it beliefs and values. Moreover, through my engagement with other believers, I have been able to meet new people and build ne relationships that have greatly benefited me as well as those that I meet. For instance, some of the seminar would focus on training youths on particular skills such as computer programing other others. These are activities that did not only impact knowledge to the youth but also promote teamwork and collaboration.

HOW I COMPLETED THE ERIKSON’S STAGES
Stage One-Trust and Mistrust
I learned to trust others
This is because my needs were care for as an infant.
Stage Two- Autonomy vs Shame and Doubt
I gained autonomy
My parents let me learn how to take care of myself.

In engaged with my parents regarding my behavior when I was an infant and one thing that they all agreed on is the fact a that I was able to trust those around me to take care of my needs. As such, I would not have issues being handled by an outside individual who was new to because I did not trust them. My parent gave me duties and responsibilities that were aimed at taking care of myself and gradually I was able to learn how to take care of myself as suggested by (Dunkel et al., 2017).

12
CONTINUATION…
Stage Three- Initiative vs Guilt
Initiative
As a child I used to take initiate in the things that I engaged in.
Stage Four- Industry vs Superiority
I was industrious growing up
This was evidence by the high level of competition I had with my friends.
According to my parents, I used to take initiative as a child and would want to handle even tasks that would otherwise prove to be too difficult for me to handle. Most of the time I would fee bad if I was unable to undertake a particular task and had to seek assistance from my parents or siblings. At the level four, I believe I was an industrious child as I always wanted to do the things that my agemates and friends were doing such as riding bikes and playing soccer among other childhood activities, (Knight et al., 2017).
13
CONTINUATION…
Stage Five- Identity vs Role Confusion
I gained my identity and role in the family and society as a whole
This was founded on Christian values
Stage Six- Intimacy Vs Isolation
At some point I was worried of isolation
I wondered what if I don’t meet the right person?
While I was at the stage five, Christian values played a significant role in shaping live. This is because I was focused on growing up in the way of the church and thus influencing may actions and behaviors. Regarding the last stage, it was during my 20s that I began to worry about my life in the future. At this time, I still remember having worries whether I will be able to met the right person to spend the rest of my life with (Newman & Newman, 2017).
14
LEARNING FROM VYGOTSKY’S ZONE OF PROXIMAL DEVELOPMENT
The theory focuses on:
Learning and becoming independent.
This is applicable during my basketball training.
My couch trained me how to improve my shooting angle through demonstration.
After repeated trials, I was able to improve my shooting.
The theory come to play because my coach demonstrated to me the best way to position my hands when holding the ball to guarantee an accurate shot. Through repeated practice, I was able to improve my shooting and this can be related to Vygotsky’s zone of proximal development because I was able to overcome what seemed like a challenge and improve my shots as suggested by (Murphy et al., 2015).
15
HOW SPORTS HAS INFUENCED MY PERSONAL LIFE
I started active sports engagement as a teenager.
This was when I joined the school basketball team.
I has to sacrifice personal time to attend training and exercise.
I have also made many friends through basketball games and training.
Many of them are in my life till now.
Sports has greatly influenced my personal life from the time I was a teenager. I had to sacrifice my personal time to attend training sessions to improve my play. Also, through the games, I have been able to meet new and interesting people who have greatly influenced my life. This is because these are individuals who have contributed to making me what I am today in one way or another through our interactions and engagements.
16
CONTINUATION…
Examples of sport activities and their influence
I am currently the a member of the state basketball association.
We are engaged formulating policies for school basketball games, tournaments and leagues.
This is something that has become part of my adult life.
From the above information, it is clear that what started as a simple passion for playing basketball has grown into a more important role as I have grown into adulthood. The fact that I am involved in the basketball activities in the states means that the activity still plays a significant role in my life now just like it did back then when I was still young.

INFLUENCE OF PERSONAL LIFE EVENTS ON SPORT ACTIVITIES
I would say my personal life promoted my sport activities.
There was nothing significant enough to prevent me from going for my practice.
My friend and family supported me as they attend my training as well as game sessions.
I would consider my personal life to have promoted my sport activities because I did not have relationships, ties or activities that prevented me from realizing my sport dreams. Those in my personal life, friend and family, were always supporting my sport activities thus motivating to excel. For instance: My parents ensured that I had everything I needed to be a good player such as the required sport gear. Also, my parents and family travelled long distances to see me play against others teams and school and this was a great motivation to me.
18
CONLUSION
My experiences throughout my growth and development have influence the person I have become.
The greatest influence include:
Family beliefs and norms
Religion, particularly Christianity
Experiences from personal and sport live has also influence who I have become.
Individuals are bound to experience various issues and challenges when they are growing up which will have a significant influence on their lives as a whole. The experiences that I have had throughout my life have contributed to molding me into the person that I am today. These include a combination of my personal as well as sport life. It is also important to mention that I have been able to realize success in my life because I have been able to find the right balance between my personal and sport life.

Why is community health assessment important? Community health assessments may address many types of issues—so many that it is sometimes difficult to know where one starts and another stops. As a public health professional, you may be asked to assess an established public health problem such as diabetes, or you might be asked to investigate a set of contributing factors such as stress, lack of exercise, and a poor diet, which are all predictors for diabetes. To target community health assessment efforts most effectively, it is important for you to understand the relationships of contributing factors and public health problems.

For this Discussion, review this week’s Resources and the media titled Belize: Health Overview. Based upon information from the resources, consider the relationship between public health problems and contributing factors.

With these thoughts in mind:

of the community’s public health problems identified in the media.

You will review both quantitative and qualitative research.  The topic is up to you as long as you choose a peer-reviewed, academic research piece.  I suggest choosing a topic that is at least in the same family as your expected dissertation topic so that you can start viewing what is out there.  There are no hard word counts or page requirements as long as you cover the basic guidelines.  You must submit original work, however,  and a paper that returns as a large percentage of copy/paste to other sources will not be accepted.  (Safe Assign will be used to track/monitor your submission for plagiarism. Submissions with a Safe Assign match of more than 25% will not be accepted.)
Please use APA formatting and include the following information:

  • Introduction/Background:  Provide context for the research article.  What led the author(s) to write the piece? What key concepts were explored? Were there weaknesses in prior research that led the author to the current hypothesis or research question?
  • Methodology:  Describe how the data was gathered and analyzed.  What research questions or hypotheses were the researcher trying to explore? What statistical analysis was used?
  • Study Findings and Results:  What were the major findings from the study? Were there any limitations?
  • Conclusions:  Evaluate the article in terms of significance, research methods, readability and the implications of the results.  Does the piece lead into further study? Are there different methods you would have chosen based on what you read? What are the strengths and weaknesses of the article in terms of statistical analysis and application? How important are excellent leaders to organizations? Well, the answer, in theory of course, would be very important. However, the answer as practiced by countless organizations might indicate otherwise. Only 38 percent of organizations have a formal frontline leadership development program in place. It’s important for organizations to commit to strong leadership development, and it’s particularly important for organizations to begin grooming their Gen Y employees to move into critical leadership positions. Why? Within 10 years (by 2025), these Millennials are set to comprise 75 percent of the global workforce. That’s why organizational leadership development programs are absolutely essential. Let’s look at what some companies are doing to prepare the next generation for leadership.
Excellent leaders have to be developed and cultivated.
3M’s leadership development program is so effective that it has been one of the “Top 20 Companies for Leadership” in six of the last seven years and ranks as one of the top 25 companies for grooming leadership talent according to consultant Hay Group. What is 3M’s leadership program all about? A few years ago, the company’s former CEO and his top team spent 18 months developing a leadership model for the company. After numerous brainstorming sessions and much heated debate, the group finally agreed on six “leadership attributes” that they believed were essential for managers to have in order for the company to become skilled at executing strategy and being accountable. Those six attributes included the ability to: develop a plan and implement that plan; motivate and rouse others; be ethical and trustworthy and abide by the rules; achieve outcomes; strive for excellence; and be a capable and creative innovator. The company has continued to reinforce its pursuit of leadership excellence with these six attributes.
Other companies, such as Ernst & Young, start early in recruiting and investing in future leaders, often going after talented college freshmen who have leadership potential. They take the best talent and involve them in various leadership development programs both while in school and after graduation. Deloitte, another company rated high for its leadership development programs, is deeply committed to helping its Millennial employees learn and absorb the leadership skills they will need to lead the company in the future. It starts with a very specific recruiting strategy for hiring Millennials and continues with a yearlong “Welcome to Deloitte” program. This program is all about teaching this age group client-management skills and team-building skills, and offering professional development opportunities. And, not surprisingly, it’s done largely through social media using interactive experiences such as role-plays, simulations, games, and a tool to help these employees track their first-year tasks.
At Facebook, the first Millennial-run organization to become a Fortune 500 company, leadership development is designed around the needs of a fast-moving, fast-growing company. The head of leadership development at Facebook says that the only way leadership development works there is by making it consistent with the types of engineering tech types that comprise the company. Engineers are concerned only with “what works.” And it’s the same for any type of leadership development to be successful here; the focus has to be on what works. Also, since Facebook is an extremely flat organization with few levels of management, employees find out early on that in order to get anything done, they’re going to have to be able to influence and inspire people. That’s why leaders at Facebook don’t have to be convinced of the need for people skills. They won’t survive long without them.
Prepare a 2-page paper answering the following questions. Remember, use 10-12 pt font and APA format! Feel free to bring in outside data/sources, but please provide citations and a list of references.
Why do you think that there’s a huge gap in theory (what we know we should do) and practice (what we’re actually doing) of leadership development?
What are some reasons that companies might not be addressing Gen Y leadership development programs?
Three different types of organizations are described here: 3M is primarily a manufacturing organization. Ernst & Young and Deloitte are professional services organizations. Facebook is a tech company. Compare and contrast their differing approaches to Gen Y leadership development.

In this section of the portfolio you are asked to utilise reflection, to assist your learning and development as a nurse. You have set a short term goal for the semester, outlined strategies to achieve that goal, and you have been asked to select three artefacts.
Use the headings supplied below to direct your reflection. Reference appropriately where required. DO NOT use dot points when addressing each of the headings below, but sentences under the headings.
Take note:
A nurse contributes to quality health care through life-long learning (Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act 2009);
Learning starts with setting goals and planning for their achievement;
Reflection is an important process that can assist the nurse in understanding about events, how to analyse the event, and then move on in terms of learning;
For the reflection, this part of Assignment One, note that you have set your goals and strategies in the first part of your Assignment at the beginning of term. Now you need to engage in reflection in order to determine what was learnt from the process of attempting to achieve your goal.
The framework below is designed to bring the Assignment to a conclusion as you reflect on what has been learnt.
LINKS TO THE ANMAC CODES AND COMPETENCIES ARE AVAILABLE IN YOUR TUTORIAL ONE NOTES.
THE FULL FOH GRADUATE ATTRIBUTES ARE PRINTED INTO TUTORIAL ONE NOTES.
Submitting the Reflective Paper – Use these Headings to structure your Reflection.
1. Introduction to the experience
Using the trigger questions directly below, briefly describe your short term goal. This is to remind the tutors of what your goal is –
• What was the context?
• Who was involved?
• What was the aim of your goal?
• When did you plan to achieve this goal?
2. Critical Analysis of the experience
• What worked well?
• Did your strategies go to plan?
• What skills were used or abilities developed?
• Were there consequences to yourself or others?
• What I would do again?
• What I would or could do differently next time?
3. New Insights
Now think about the process or experience of working toward fulfilling the goal.
• As a result of the experience what abilities or skills were developed? Consider the application of the Faculty of Health Graduate Attributes?
Choose one of the FoH Graduate Attributes which you feel has been developed the most and discuss how this attribute will assist you in developing some behaviours required for the ANMAC Competencies.

Human beings are known to have good memory as compared to the other creature, they are capable of remembering what happened in the past and can use these memories to predict what might happen in the future, they are able to solve both simple and complex tasks by the power of thinking and remembering what has ever happened in their lives. But this is not the situation for all of them, some are developing a memory loss as they are approaching older ages, they cannot think and remember what happened some days back or what has just happened some few hours, they are not in a position to accomplish simple tasks that they used to do. What do you think might be the problem with them?
Those who are developing the memory loss might be suffering from ALZHEIMERS disease which is an irreversible, continuous brain disorder that slowly damages the memory and the thinking ability and finally kills one’s ability to handle even the simple tasks. It is known to appear in most people in two phases, the early onset which occurs between 30s to 60s and the late onset that papers in one after attaining the age of 60, it in the older adults.
I know that you are know wondering what where did this desease originated from ?what might be the cause ? how is it being spread ? ,Yes research

Historical Context of the U.S. Constitution
A bill of rights is what the people are entitled to against every government on earth.” – Thomas Jefferson
In 1783 American colonists, defying incredible odds, had just beaten the United Kingdom, the western hemisphere’s preeminent power, in the American War for Independence. (NPS.gov, n.d.) Those thirteen colonies, saddled with a new governmental charter, the Articles of Confederation, sought to chart their own, independent path. (Gilderlehrman, n.d.) As a result, in 1787 disgruntled colonists sent delegates to Philadelphia with the task of revising the dysfunctional Articles of Confederation. In a radical departure, most delegates opted against amending the existing constitution, and instead, created a new Constitution. (OConnor & Sabato, 2019)
During the four-month Constitutional Convention, the delegates readily agreed upon James Madison’s basic premise of a new United States government delineated along three branches: legislative, executive, and judicial. That said, most delegates envisioned a strong legislative body and a weak executive office. Real disagreements arose regarding the composition of the legislative body, in particular the election and responsibilities of senators. Slavery proved a vexing issue to which a compromise allowed slaves to be partially counted for Congressional representation. (Maier, 2011)
One of the last arguments of the convention involved the question of whether to include a “Bill of Rights” within the U.S. Constitution. Many delegates did not believe that a Bill of Rights was a necessary component. After the Constitutional Convention and during the Constitution’s ratification, James Madison consented to Thomas Jefferson’s concerns regarding individual liberty and thus pledged to add additional amendments that would codify an individual’s rights within the federal government. During the first session of Congress in 1789, Madison composed a series of Amendments designed to safeguard a citizen’s individual liberties from a potentially powerful federal government, which are now collectively known as the Bill of Rights. (Maier, 2011)
The debate over the Bill of Rights, among other significant concerns, later split the Founding Fathers into two political camps: the Federalists and Antifederalists. These groups later became this country’s first set of political parties, and notably, established a dominant, two-party system.
More information about the Constitutional Convention can be found with the U.S. State Department’s Office of the Historian.
Although a living document, the original writing of the U.S. Constitution reflected the political, social, and economic factors particular to late Eighteenth-century America. During the Constitutional Convention, the delegates included and/or excluded content within the Constitution that reflected the historical and/or philosophical concerns from their own perspectives: steeped in the philosophies of the European Enlightenment, formed by memories of a war of independence against Imperial Great Britain, cognizant of the current failures of the current constitution, and alarmed by the post-independence civil unrest. (Lumens, 2019)
Directions: Using the required, academic readings, and supplemental academic research, please address the following while adhering to the Discussion Board Rubric:

  • Briefly describe the powers the Constitution gives to the executive, legislative, and judicial branches.
  • What Article within the Constitution explains how the Constitution can be changed?
  • What was the purpose of the Preamble of the U.S. Constitution?
  • Select two Articles, Sections, and/or Clauses within the 1789 U.S. Constitution.
    • You may pick from Articles I-VII and the first ten Amendments.*
      • Note: If you pick an Article, you may decide to focus on a particular Section or Clause within the Article. For example: Article 1, Section 8, Clause 1: “The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts and excises, to pay the debts and provide for the common defense and general welfare of the United States; but all duties, imposts and excises shall be uniform throughout the United States.”
    • Explain in specific detail how historical and/or philosophical influences resulted in the writing of this component of the U.S. Constitution.
      • Why did you pick your chosen examples?
      • Did the chosen examples ultimately benefit the U.S. government? Why?

*You may pick an example that was proposed during the Constitutional Convention but did not survive the final writing of the U.S. Constitution.
