Instructions: You will draft a written report of approximately 800 to 1000 words plus tables. The report should explain your analysis, address the prompts, make a recommendation, and justify the recommendation. You may choose to address the case described on Blackboard (in the Course Information folder) or a real-world case of your own choosing that I approve in advance.
You may work individually or in groups of up to three people. If you decide to work in a group, however, any disputes between group members must be resolved within the group and you will not have the option of working independently if you commit to working in a group. In general, all group members will earn the same grade on their assignment. However, group members will be asked to evaluate each other and I may use these evaluations to adjust the grades assigned to individual group members.
Important details:
1. If you plan to work in a group, please send your section instructor an email by November 1 indicating who will be working together. Please be sure to cc all group members.
2. You (or your group) will turn in your final report, including tables and text, in a Word or PDF format. You will also submit your excel spreadsheet. You will submit all of this to your section instructor via email by Wednesday, December 9, 5pm. You will lose 10% every day it is late.
3. You (if doing the project individually) or your group must work independently. You must do the calculations and writing independent of other groups or individuals. Any evidence of collaboration between groups or individuals will result in a zero score for the groups/individuals involved. Conversation and discussion is fine, but any evidence of sharing excel files or the written report will be treated as evidence of a violation of academic integrity, and everyone involved (regardless of their role) will receive a zero score.
4. 50% of your grade on the project will be based on the accuracy of your calculations. We will grade individual portions of the calculations separately with the goal of not penalizing you twice for one mistake. That is, if you make a mistake in calculating OCF (as an example), but then use that incorrect number correctly from that point forward, you will receive credit for correctly using the incorrect number.
5. 30% of your grade will be based on the content of your written report. We will focus on how clearly and accurately you explained your analysis and responded to the prompts. We will also be concerned about whether the written report aligns with the calculations and tables. Do not make the mistake of glossing over important details or assuming we understand what you are intending with your writeup. Our advice is to write your report as though you were explaining your analysis to another student who is smart but does not understand project analysis as well as you. Such an approach will usually yield the right level of detail in your explanations.
6. 20% of your grade will be based on polish. Is it well written? Are there typos? Are there grammar mistakes? Is it well formatted? Does it look nice? Do the tables make sense? The answers to these questions will directly influence 20% of your grade (and indirectly influence the rest of your grade).
7. If you work in a group, you will be asked to evaluate your group members based on their teamwork. Were they actively engaged in the project? Did they put in the same effort as others? Did they do what they said they would do? Were they helpful and supportive of other group members? Would you work with that person again? Note that this will focus on attitude and engagement more than the quality of their contributions. The results of these evaluations MAY cause me to adjust an individual group member’s grade by up to 20%.
Please read this details carefully and let me know if you have any questions.
Descriptive Statistics
Nursing HomeworksDescriptive Statistics
The Statistics Project assignment has been broken down into multiple parts and you will complete these parts throughout the course. This week’s assignment allows you to become familiar with opening data and viewing it in Microsoft® Excel® and using the Analysis Toolpak. In research, the individual data points are entered into databases, but for the purpose of this course, the data is provided in a spreadsheet for you in the Happiness and Engagement Dataset.
Imagine you have been asked to enhance workplace happiness and engagement at your company. You have conducted a survey and gathered data on the gender, age, relationship with direct supervisor, telecommute schedule, relationship with coworkers, along with the ratings for workplace happiness and workplace engagement for 50 individuals in your department. You must determine what variables affect workplace happiness and engagement. The first step is to run descriptive statistics on each variable to learn more about the data you have collected.
Calculate descriptive statistics for the following variables in the provided Microsoft® Excel® dataset:
Write a 125- to 175-word summary of your interpretation of the descriptive results for each variable. Copy and paste the Microsoft® Excel® output below your summary.
Format your summary according to APA guidelines.

Should members, who have a negative attitude, be placed with team members who are excited about this event? Why or why not?
Nursing Essay Help- Rosamma and Mary are the two administrative staff members who do not get along. Rosamma keeps to herself, is quiet, wears traditional long dresses and cooks ethnic foods for lunch every day. Mary is outspoken, loud, hurries through assignments, and seems to be on her cell phone often talking about her personal life to friends. Mary is twenty and Rosamma is forty-six.
- Cindy, thirty-five, and Lolita, forty, are the part-time staff members. They often bring their problems to work and are stressed due to the economy. They interact at work with the full time staff, but the full time staff think they complain too much and “what for, they only work part-time.”
- Chip is a twenty-three-year-old maintenance worker who has two children and works a part-time job at night in addition to his full-time role. He is tired as he has been continuously working for many days.
- Samir is fifty-five and works full-time, and cannot wait until he retires.
- Sarah is the fifty-two-year-old negative department manager who complains about everyone else. However, she is a strong informal leader and has influence over the group.
- Jerry is twenty-four and in graduate school. In fact, he is the president of his class and majors in business. He will likely leave in about one year when he graduates. He has a positive attitude and is currently a bit demotivated because no one likes to work together and there seems to be no direction at this point. He has made fun of Sarah just because she makes negative comments to him.
- You are the manager (use your current age) and you are just promoted into this position as the leader of the group.
Your presentation should consist of 12–15 professional color Microsoft PowerPoint slides (not including the title and reference slide) along with detailed speaker notes to include examples to support each slide. You need to divide the teams into three groups. Remember this is a team-building activity.- Can you put Rosamma and Mary together on a team when they clearly have communication issues and Mary feels Rosamma is “slow and too quiet . . . besides, she prays all the time.” Should the two younger males in the department be put on the same team or divided up to run with the women, even though they make comments about how old Sarah is and how she wears old-fashioned clothes? Give reasons.
- How will you make the determination which members to put together?
- Should members, who have a negative attitude, be placed with team members who are excited about this event? Why or why not?
- How will a negative manager affect the overall group dynamic as opposed to a positive leader who wants to see his or her team develop?
- How influential can an informal leader be among the team members? Can an informal leader carry more power than the formal manager?
- What barriers to effective teamwork can you anticipate and how will it be addressed?
- What specific traits will make this team-building activity a success?
- How can effective leaders demonstrate care and value the workgroup to improve collaboration, motivation, and low turnover in the workplace?
- How do you think results can improve when effective communication is practiced in the healthcare field with peers, colleagues, and leadership teams?
Support your responses with examples. Cite any sources in APA format. Submission Details Present the additional information in the Notes section.IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ROPER, LOGAN AND TIERNEY MODEL OF CARE

According to the letter, Jake who is nearly 4, has had extensive consultations with Paediatric specialists as his mother is concerned about his development. No reasons have been found to explain his situation. The doctor asks that you make a plan of care to provide the mother with strategies to help his development. Jake’s mother, Sally has come to the centre to speak with you about Jake. Sally states that Jake is her only child and she has no siblings or friends with children. Sally has just moved into a house, from a small unit. She is worried about Jake getting hurt so she has him sitting with her most of the day. She admits that she doesn’t know what she should be doing but when Jake recently started preschool, it was obvious that he wasn’t doing things other children of his age were doing. On examination you find: Jake is 95 cm tall and Weighs 13 Kg. Jake is shy and does not make eye contact. He sits very close to his mother. His mother informs you that the preschool teachers have voiced concerns to her that Jake rarely interacts with other children preferring to play on his own or parallel to them. They are also concerned about his diet as he often refuses to eat his lunch. When you ask Jake about what he likes to eat, he says “McDonald’s”. On further questioning, you find he generally has cereal for breakfast and Sally states they eat a lot of take away food as she gets frustrated when she cooks a meal and he will not eat it. She knows he’ll eat the take away food. Even then he doesn’t eat much. His speech is limited to short phrases to get what he wants. For example when he wanted to play with a particular…

Below is a list of examples of topics, but you can also introduce one of your own:
What is going on during the asymptomatic phase of HIV infection?
How can patients help to delay the symptomatic phase of AIDS?
Choose one of the symptoms of the progression of AIDS, as shown in Table 5-1a on p.72 of the textbook. You can type any one of those symptoms into google and you’ll probably find some you-tube videos. Be sure to include HIV as a keyword in your search. Do some research on that symptom and describe it in your post. Describe what is going on in the patient’s body. You might include some preventative steps or treatment for that symptom.
As usual, upload your post of 150-200 words

What arguments can be made for focusing on those considered gifted and talented?
Nursing HomeworksReflection
In this course, you have learned about the range of exceptionalities in children from low-incidence disabilities to gifted and talented, and also twice-exceptional children.
Given the realities of budget cutbacks, financial challenges, and legal requirements of schools, the focus tends to be on evaluating and providing interventions for students on the disability end of the exceptionalities continuum, rather than on those considered gifted and talented.
Using the module readings, the Argosy University online library resources, and the Internet, research gifted and talented students. Then, reflect on what you have learned throughout this course.
Based on your research, respond to the following:
Part I
Remember to consider ethical and legal arguments.
Part II
Write your initial response in 300–500 words. Apply APA standards to citation of sources.
